Many times diabetic patient's present with ulcers, blister, and/ or infected ingrown nails.  Most of these issues could have been addressed easily if they would have presented a few days earlier.  The patient's with diabetic neuropathy have a decrease in sensation do not even know that they have an issue.

It is important for diabetic patient to check there feet daily. If there are any changes they should have the area assessed immediately.
